The history of the “Carbon” Company began in 2002 with establishing co-operation with the Khazar Chemical Plant (Turkmenistan) that supplied us with K-354 carbon black.
In 2003, the Company’s product assortment was expanded to include low active grades of carbon black supplied under a delivery contract concluded with the OAO “Ivanovo TechCarbon and Rubber” (Ivanovo).
In 2004, the Company suggested that a number of enterprises of Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region) should manufacture zinc white from zinc metal, which enabled the Company to put zinc white on the list of its product offered and delivered.
In 2005, the Company carried out successive negotiations with the OAO “Nizhnekamsk Technical Carbon Plant” (Tatarstan) and included semi-active and active grades of carbon black into the Company’s delivery assortment.
Since 2006, the OAO “Tekhuglerod” (Omsk) has been our partner, having expanded our Company’s product catalogue by adding some electrically conducting carbon black grades.
In 2007, the Company set up cooperation with some large foreign companies. Since then, its export sales volume of carbon black has been steadily incleasing.
In 2008, the product catalogue was expanded by adding channel black produced by the OOO “Gazprompererabotka” (the former Sosnogorsk Gas Processing Plant).
In 2009, we were able to withstand the challenges created by the global economic crisis owing to delivering a stable supply of our product to the Company’s strategic partners.
In 2010, our Company entered into partnership with the OAO “Yaroslavl Technical Carbon”.
At the present time, the OAO “Carbon” is concerned with its product line extension and infrastructure development as well as with attraction of new business partners. We are confident going into tomorrow in line with our strategy to strengthen our position in the petrochemical market.
